Privacy policy
Your data, plainly.
@plzbuild turns requests into small web apps. It only looks at what you send it or tag it in, uses that to build what you asked for, and never sells it or uses it for ads.
What it sees
- Messages sent to @plzbuild, comments on its posts, and comments that mention it.
- For people with access: the request text, and the post or reel it was asked about (caption, images, video, visible comments).
- Instagram usernames and the ids Instagram gives apps, to know who may make requests and where to reply.
What it does with it
Understands the request, builds and tests the app, asks follow-up questions when something is unclear, and replies with the result. A person reviews each app before it's published. Nothing is sold, shared for advertising, or used to profile anyone.
What becomes public
Published apps are public: they live at their own address and are listed on this site with a name, a description, a screenshot, the text of the request that started them (and of later changes), when they went live, and a link to the post they were about. Your username and profile are never shown on the site. If you'd rather your request text weren't shown, say so and it's removed.
How long it's kept
Requests and their media are kept while the app they produced is maintained. Backups are kept for up to eight weeks.
Deleting your data
Send a message to @plzbuild on Instagram asking to delete your data. It's done within 30 days. If you connected an app to your Instagram account, removing it in Instagram's settings also removes its access.
